Transition through Anger
It seems as though we are flung into anger and then somehow we seem to fly effortlessly out of it...strange mood anger is...it has a crippling grip on our soul and spirit. It actually becomes paralyzing to us because of its powerful control over our emotions. Anger can be so controlling that it leads us down certain paths we weren't planning to encounter. But I believe anger shoves us along with the strength of a giant towering over us. Intimidating our need to be loving, giving and caring about others. Anger can be displayed in front of us as this...the sour bite of what you think is a sweet, succulent apple. When you bite into it the sourness makes your mouth pucker and almost lock up with the sudden bitterness. How is it we let others en flick this emotion upon us...you actually have the choice to allow this emotion into your life or keep it out.
Anger is like fire...we constantly struggle to put out the flames so as to not let it destroy the things we love by burning them to ashes.
The next time you are confronted by anger whether it is your emotion or someone bringing their anger to you...remember this...it is something that came to me during a meditation almost 7 years ago...it was my inner voice speaking to me which is what happens often when I meditate and have the inspiration to write about the meditation experience...some of my friends have shared this with their friends and it has helped them through their own transition...so call it your quote or mine it doesn't really matter, what does matter is that the inner voice that delivered it to me did so with kindness as to assist me in understanding why anger exists...I'm just blessed by the opportunity to be able to put my pen to paper and translate these beautiful messages that are delivered through me to you ~ helping you to
